Bridging and Transactions

  • Q: When can we bridge from Merlin to EVM chain? A: The bridge out function will be live after February 21th

  • Q: How do I withdraw my BTC from the Merlin chain? If the bridge is not available, is there an ETA on when we can bridge? A: February 21th

Staking and Rewards

  • Q: If I don't reach 1 bitcoin, will I not receive any Merlin tokens? A: No, you still get M-Points based on the asset you staked, just not extra points.

  • Q: I staked around 40 bitmaps; will I only be able to collect them in April? Is there any risk of losing them? Can I receive an airdrop just by staking my bitmaps? A: It's safe. You will receive an M-Points when you stake an asset on the Merlin chain. In March, you can exchange $MERL tokens with M-points. Your assets will be released in April.

  • Q: When you stake funds to Merlin Seal from meson.fi and Stakestone, do you still receive M-points? A: Yes, you will receive M-points for this matter as it is also a Merlin's Seal stake event.

  • Q: Can I unstake at any point, or do I have to wait for the bridge like with BTC? A: Staked assets, including ETH/USDC/USDT, will be locked until April.

Team and Participation

  • Q: A person joined my team with 0 BTC. Can I remove them from my team? A: There's no remove function on the team. Try to stake as much as you can to cover his position and get his share of M-points.

Technical Issues

  • Q: WebUI always displays insufficient balance, however, my wallet has 0.65 BTC which can be staked. A: Please check if your address contains any invalid inscriptions. Try using UniSat to split the UTXO of an invalid inscription

  • Q: I tried to connect merlinchain.io with my UniSat wallet and OKX wallet, approved connection in both wallets, but the website is still not connected with the wallet. This problem occurred on both Chrome and Brave browsers. A: Did you unlock the wallet before trying to connect to the site? Please try under different networks, VPN/other Wi-Fi/mobile networks." Q: What wallet types are supported to stake? A: We do support Taproot and Native Segwit wallet types.
